Introduction from the Chair
Joshua von Fragstein welcomed everyone to the AGM
Reflections upon the last 18 months
Work carried out by the committee between March 2019 - August 2020 was reviewed for those in attendance. This review expanded upon work in key areas, including:
• Re-structuring of the website
• Re-development of NDSA student awards process
• 3 LIF supported events
• 10 other events
• Development of online content through reviews and articles published on the website and YouTube
• Established & maintained links with local construction industry specialists
• Links made with local companies
Announcement of nominations and award of positions
Hon. Secretary Paul MacMahon explained the AGM processes as outlined in the RIBA Branch Handbook. Outgoing committee members were thanked before running through nominations and award of positions.

Thanks to outgoing members
Those members who stood down were thanked for their time and support and we look forward to seeing them at future events, in particular:
• Rory Wood who fulfilled the position of Social Media Secretary, delivered the BBQ Social & the Hands-on technical event with Schluter;
and
• Kasia Jakus-Lechowska who has assisted with brand development and the delivery of the Derbyshire Architecture Celebration.
We hope those who haven’t been successful on this occasion are not deterred from contributing in the future and we hope to see them at events and gatherings in the future; whether they are online or in person.

Individuals interested in becoming a co-opted committee member were invited to email the committee with an expression of interest ahead of the first meeting of the new committee.
Invitation to contribute
