Director Gavin Watts of Define Architects speaks candidly to NDSA Chair Joshua von Fragstein about his architectural journey on the way to establishing Define Architects; including the core values that guide their work and the associated business challenges faced as a new practice.

Established with Ashley Taylor in 2018, after working in Basingstoke with ACG and more recently Copenhagen with Schmidt Hammer Lassen, they have recently been appointed to develop a 10 year masterplan with Altrincham football club.

Gavin highlights their background from Part 1 through to starting a new practice, outlining how they set themselves up, lessons learned along the way and where they are going next.
