Jestico + Whiles Director James Dilley will discuss their work on the Nottingham Island quarter project.

'The Island Quarter' is a £650 million-pound mixed-use development in Nottingham set to become a new landmark for the city and the Midlands.

J+W has designed the first two phases of the 40-hectare Island Quarter originally home to the world-famous Nottingham brand Boots PLC.

This first phase of which known as 'The Pavilion' is currently under construction now on the Nottingham Canal corner near Virgin Active.

The site as many will know has seen various iterations of master plans from various regional practices for a site that has seemed to sit dormant for decades.
