Nottingham City Council is launching the Design Quality Framework, a series of guides for communities, industries and authorities to raise design quality across the city and to embrace the Placemaking ethos, an approach that allows everyone to become involved in planning and designing their city.

This workshop provides an opportunity to gain more practical knowledge and skills regarding the key design quality parameters that are crucial to Nottingham and the City’s overall design quality expectations, and to learn how you can become involved in shaping your city.

Through a workshop, you will have an opportunity to test-drive the design guide applying it to appraise a real life planning application. After the workshop you will also have an opportunity to give us feedback on the practicalities of using the guide.

The event is free of charge, although places are limited.
