Event Follow Up: Derby Architecture Celebration 2020

On Friday 7th February the NDSA hosted it’s inaugural Derby Architecture Celebration at the Old Central Library, Derby Museum & Art Gallery. Despite Storm Ciara’s arrival and the disastrous closure of Nottingham’s Clifton Bridge, the event was well attended . Four excellent presentations by the guest speakers were complimented by scale models and project panels. The NDSA are very thankful for the contributions of all those who made this event possible.

Hosted by NDSA Chair Joshua von Fragstein, the event featured pretensions by four leading architects, all of whom talked us through the project brief through to completion. Each project was completed in Derbyshire in the last five years. Presenting were Simon Gedye from Studio Gedye, Michael Hall from FaulknerBrowns, Robert Evans from Evans Vetorri and Paul Hutt from Glancy Nichols.
